Design On Acid is responsible for the personal data described on this page. This policy explains what we collect through designonacid.com, why we use it, who may receive it, and the choices available to you.

02 / Data we process
Only what the service needs.
Visiting the site
Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested page, timestamps and security signals to deliver, secure and maintain the site. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure publication.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. We use it to answer your request and keep relevant correspondence for as long as reasonably needed.
We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics.
03 / Career accounts
Profiles belong to the people who create them.
When you choose LinkedIn sign-in, LinkedIn provides an account identifier and may provide your name, email address and profile image. We use the identifier to keep your account secure and return you to the profile you manage. Your email address and LinkedIn identifier are not displayed publicly.
Information you add to a talent profile, company profile or vacancy is published on the Career board. This may include your name, image, location, headline, skills, availability, ambitions, company information and links to LinkedIn, a portfolio, showreel or vacancy.
Profiles and vacancies are stored using Netlify Blobs until you delete them or ask us to do so. You can delete your profile and associated vacancies from the account panel. Please do not publish sensitive personal information in a public profile.
05 / External media
Video stays off until you allow it.
Some Insight, Talent and Career pages contain videos hosted by YouTube or Vimeo. These players are blocked by default. If you allow external media, your browser connects to the selected provider, which receives technical data such as your IP address and browser information and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms.
External media consent is optional. Refusing it does not restrict the rest of the site. You can still follow a direct showreel link where one is provided.
06 / Providers & transfers
The services behind the site.
We use Netlify for hosting and data storage, LinkedIn for optional account sign-in, Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts for typography, and jsDelivr for front-end libraries. YouTube and Vimeo are contacted only after you allow external media. These providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards available under their respective terms and privacy notices.
07 / Your rights
You remain in control.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send a request to hello@designonacid.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

When this page changes.
We may update this policy when the site, its providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
